Made to scale for your younger child, My First Pencils lessen the strain on his hand and provide better control of the pencil. My First Pencils are large and pre-sharpened for writing and drawing. My First Pencil's 2B graphite core is wider than standard pencils, so they should not need sharpening as often, but a sharpener is included in the package. The larger diameter of the pencil is more comfortable for your child to use, and the stocky erasers on the ends dispatch mistakes quickly.
